IODS Databases Offering


   
 
Lipper FMI
The product FundFile Europe & UK gives access to monthly updated data on over 35,000 funds in Europe & UK along with the coverage on management companies.

Eurofidai
Daily data and information on 101,888 European mutual funds over the period from 1980-2010.

EDHEC
EDHEC-Risk calculates hedge fund indices for 13 different types of investment strategies. The indices are an average of the main hedge fund indices already existing. The frequency is monthly over 1997-2011.

OEE
OEE delivers data on net sales of European funds.

ETP Data Systems

A referential on warrants and certificates. ETP is partner of the French Association of Securitized Listed Derivatives.
 FactSet Ownership/Mutual funds  The FactSet Mutual Funds database provides portfolio details for equity mutual funds. The full equity investment details are provided for each fund: security name, position, position change, market value, and portfolio date.
   

 


Bureau Van Dijk
Through Amadeus: Data on listed and unlisted companies, in Europe, from 30 different sources. Series of agregated financial ratio calculated by industry, country and size of company. More than 14 millin European companies with historical data going back to 1995. 
 
Altares

Altares, part of Dun & Bradstreet, covers over 20 million French companies with historical data going back to 2001.

Factset Fundamentals 

Access current, comprehensive, and comparative information on securities worldwide with FactSet Fundamentals. The comprehensive coverage available on FactSet Fundamentals includes more than 68,600 companies from over 70 countries, 20 years of historical data, and up to 2,000 data elements on each company record. Comprised of annual and interim/quarterly data, detailed historical financial statement content, per share data, calculated ratios, pricing, and textual information, FactSet Fundamentals provides you with the information you need for a global investment perspective.

 
Factset Ownership 

The FactSet Ownership database collects global equity ownership data for institutions, mutual fund portfolios, and insiders/stakeholders. FactSet provides both summary and detailed ownership data that can be viewed by security or by holder (institution, mutual fund, insider/stakeholder, as well as beneficial owner in the case of UK domiciled securities).

 
 Factset Estimates FactSet Estimates combines a great breadth of data with a level of transparency that ensures you are using the timeliest and highest quality data available in the industry. Access comprehensive consensus-level estimates and statistics with daily history
   

 



Eurofidai

Data from main European stock exchanges and multilateral trading facilities (MTF). It includes stocks and indices built by Eurofidai (general, sector, factors and specific indexes formed on the size, the book-to-market and the momentum) from 1977-2010 for France and 1986-2010 for the other European countries.
It also covers European intraday stock and option prices from NYSE Euronext (LIFFE) from 1999.
   

 

 


European Savings
Institute

The European Savings Institute (OEE) offers data on savings, credit to households, over-indebtedness and other macro-financial data of European scale.

Calculation Offerings

On request, IODS delivers complementary data calculated with standard programs :
  • Implicit market transaction costs, betas, volatilities, size, book-to-market, momentum factors…
  • Several of those calculations are available online: Seasonally adjusted data, key business ratios…
  • More complex calculations are available on request with an appropriate pricing.

Engineering Services and Database Hosting

Creation and maintenance of databases:
This service offers the building of ad-hoc databases at researchers' request. These databases can be constructed from the crossing of existing databases, data researches or the realisation of surveys.
Validation:
This service offers special data treatments (checking, structuring and possible correction).
Database hosting:
Delivery of referential databases for back-testing purposes.
