INSEAD OEE Data Services (IODS), a start-up launched in December 2010, was set up with the purpose of providing European researchers and financial economists with a large range of databases and associated services.
IODS core objectives: Gather, reprocess and structure in a coherent fashion mass volumes of financial data on the European markets (market data, corporate, investment products, macro-financials…) collected from diverse sources (data vendors, existing platform, proprietary databases…)
Provide these data to R&D projects via standardised and documented interfaces. Deliver services (data quality, documentation, support, IT solutions) and a pricing policy tailored to academics and R&D needs.

 INSEAD OEE Data Services (IODS) newly launched databases are available from early June 2011. IODS is the first web-based data aggregator available to European researchers on its website.
We are dedicated to provide you with a data service that brings a real added value to your empirical research, covering all fields in finance and economics. IODS four partners - INSEAD Foundation, European Savings Institute, La Caisse des Dépôts and Viel Group - are well aware of the issues surrounding the availability of consistent, comprehensive and extensive data....

Macro-financial data are updated on a regular basis. According to their availability, the latest data are as at September 2011, Q2 2011 or as at 2010. | IODS has organised a conference with presentations of IODS' databases on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011, at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.
